Terms

Terms of use

This is a plain-language summary of how D1Express works. Full legal terms are being prepared with review under Lao law and will replace this summary before public launch.

What D1Express is

D1Express is a platform that connects people who need packages delivered with independent motorbike riders in Laos. Riders are independent delivery partners, not employees of D1Express.

What you may send

Legal items that fit safely on a motorbike. You may not send anything prohibited by Lao law, hazardous materials, live animals, or items you are not entitled to send. You are responsible for describing your package accurately.

Prices and payment

The price is calculated from the delivery distance and shown to you before you confirm. D1Express retains a platform commission from each completed delivery; the remainder is the rider's delivery pay.

Completing a delivery

A delivery is complete when the rider verifies the recipient's delivery code at the destination. Keep your codes private and share them only at the moment of hand-over.

Cancellations

You can cancel before your package is collected. Cancellation and refund rules for prepaid deliveries are being finalised and will be stated here in the full terms.

Liability

D1Express does not currently offer package insurance. Coverage limits, claims and dispute procedures will be set out in the full terms — we will not claim protection we do not yet provide.
